Meet The Founder

Hi! I’m Ryan Miele, the founder of Turbobo, a company built on a mission to reduce the global anxiety epidemic. I’m also a student at Brown University, where I'm continuing my education and personal development. Our adorable stuffed therapy dog is inspired by my connection with my own dog Turbo, who has been a source of positivity and friendship since childhood. Everyone deserves a friend like him! Turbobo is uniquely designed with five discreet therapeutic devices, which have been clinically tested to reduce anxiety and improve mental wellness, in people of all ages.
He is making friends across the country, from homes, to daycare centers, to schools. He’s even gone to colleges! I hope you will make friends with Turbobo!

Thanks for stopping by!

Helping others help themselves has always been a part of who I am. Throughout middle school and high school , I volunteered at various charitable organizations within my community.

This work included tutoring children in academics, coaching sports, and working with people of all ages. I’ve volunteered in institutions and homes for the elderly, helping people navigate feelings of isolation and depression, and saw first hand how COVID affected mental wellness. I knew I wanted to do something to help in a bigger way! That is how Turbobo, the all-in-one, cost-effective, therapeutic stuffed animal companion was born! Turbobo
meets the FDA’s guidelines to be considered a general wellness medical device and includes five key sensory features, designed to reduce anxiety. We call these the “5 THRIVE”: a weighted body (Turbobo is 5 lbs), zippered ears that contain a cold/heat pack, aromatherapy, a hard tactile velcro patch and a fidget tail. Five therapeutic tools to help you thrive! Everyone could use a Turbobo to help reduce the stress and anxiety of everyday life.

Together, "We got this!"

To further my mission, my company has committed to donating 5% of all Turbobo units purchased to underserved families within our greater community. Turbobo says, “You Got This!” Together, “We got this!”
